My cataract surgery went very smooth and I had no paint at all. The staff was very nice, polite and helpful; and now I don’t need glasses to drive. It’s great!! I am very satisfied with all aspects of Dr. Beim and his wonderful staff. From my office visits, to my surgery and again for my check-ups, everything was superb. Before I went to see Dr. Beim I was experiencing blurred and decreased vision. Since my surgery I don’t need glasses for reading or seeing at a distance. I have no problems seeing my television…This is terrific! The office staff is very friendly and courteous. They explained and helped me understand my condition, what was going to take place and answered any questions my wife and I had. Imagine Sunday morning in the pulpit; my trifocal glasses slipping and sliding down my nose as I tilted my head to catch a glimpse of the sermon manuscript. Words blurred on the paper. My head bobbed making the adjustment. The people in the pews were blurred and my head bobbed trying to focus. My fingers were forever pushing those glasses back in place. There was a whole lot of shaking going on! Now, imagine being thankful for cataracts…I am! It has been over five years since my cataract surgery with the ReSTOR lens replacement. For the first time since the third grade, I don’t need glasses. I don’t wear reading glasses…as many cataract lens replacements still require. Just glancing down I can see the sermon manuscript clearly. No one even knows I peaked! Thanks so very much for your outstanding patient care. The Rev. Dr. Cynthia F. A surprising outcome! They were so nice and made me feel more at ease. One day I lost my vision in my left eye, and my right eye was getting very hard to see out of. Dr. Beim took the time to let me know what I had and want was going on with my eyes. He went over what we needed to do and went over every step with me and my husband, and Ashley was always there to help me with my fears and my questions. Dr. Beim and his staff took away a lot of the fear that I had and now I can SEE! I am so blessed! I want to tank Dr. Beim and his staff and I would tell anyone to go see him. Thank you- I used to avoid driving at night because of the glare and not being able to see road signs, but after having my cataract surgery at Eye Associates of Brazos Valley I can see clearly again. I don’t need to wear my glasses as much, and colors are so much brighter. My surgery was a challenging case, according to Dr. Beim, because I have deep set eyes, and had significant cataracts. Dr. Beim did an excellent job, it all went well though and I am so glad I had it done. His office staff was so kind and caring. The day of the surgery, the nurses at the Bellville Hospital explained each step and helped me feel more comfortable. I’d like to thank Dr. Beim and his professional team for giving me clear vision.
