What is Juvederm^®?

So a light solution would be used to smooth out superficial wrinkles, and a denser solution for deeper folds in the forehead and cheeks. The composition of the formula also produces softer results than Restylane, so it is ideal for the superficial treatment areas and for increasing volume in the lips. Restylane's more solid makeup, however, tends to last longer, and is ideal for plumping deep furrows and increasing cheek volume. Sometimes both are used in different areas in the face to produce the desired results.

A Juvederm procedure is a quick in-office process that takes about 20 minutes to administer, and produces immediate results. The formula is injected into the target areas using a tiny needle, with minimal to no discomfort.
